Domiciliary Care
With the help of non-medical care services, elderly people can stay as independent as possible while still getting the support they need to live happily and securely in their own homes, assisted living facilities, or retirement communities.
We assist with personal care, social events, and daily responsibilities. Our goal is to serve those with complex requirements, such as those related to dementia and Alzheimer's disease, palliative care, and end-of-life care, with specialized senior care.
We are dedicated to delivering highly experienced and trained carers to assist you or your loved ones with a variety of home care services, whether you like to refer to it as private duty care, home care, or geriatric care. Below is a list of some of the areas that we offer assistance in:
- Washing, bathing, dressing
- Nail care
- Cleaning and laundry
- Social activities
- Medication reminders
- Meal planning and preparation
- Toileting and continence care
Yes, we have both male and female carers. If you have a preference we will do our best to accommodate you. Where 2 carers are required for a visit, we would normally send either 2 female carers or a male and a female carer.
We appreciate that there are times when you may wish to go out or have an appointment and will not be at home. In these circumstances we would ask that you give us 48 hours’ notice so that we do not have to charge you for the visit.
We understand that emergencies happen and should you suddenly need to go to into hospital we just ask that you or a family member contact us as soon as possible. We would not charge you for cancelled visits under these circumstances.
Yes, our minimum length of time for a visit is half an hour. The length of a visit will be based on your needs which will be determined at the time of assessment.
Unfortunately we are unable to offer you the same carer for each visit but we do try to offer regular carers. We are a small team and all our carers are very friendly and personable.
We will normally invoice you weekly but a monthly invoice will be considered if that is more convenient for you. You may pay by bank transfer or cheque, whichever is better for you.
If you live alone and there is no-one who can open the door for your carer, we would advise you to have a key-safe fitted outside your property. Care staff will then be able to let themselves in. The key-safe number will be kept confidential to ensure your safety.
